On the night of 2nd December 2009, Pearlfisher won the award for Household Goods – for their ongoing work for Jme at the annual Benchmarks Awards. Designed to set a standard in the recognition of excellence in brand communications Benchmark are Design Week’s own prestigious accolade.
Jme is an eclectic collection of homeware products inspired by Jamie Oliver’s relaxed approach to eating, entertaining and enjoying life, covering all home categories from bone china and textiles to products for kids and outdoor entertaining. Pearlfisher started working with Jamie Oliver to create the identity and packaging for Jme in 2008 and continues to work on the ongoing design of the brand and packaging as the range of products expands and evolves.
Creative Partner, Jonathan Ford, said, “ We are enormously proud of our work for Jme and delighted to also have it recognised by one of the industry’s top awards. Natalie Chung our Creative Director and her talented design team have indeed set a benchmark for what branding and packaging can do for building brand desirability and resulting success.”
He continued, “The Jme team has tracked down fantastic artisans and talented designers from all over the world to produce the Jme collection. In addition Pearlfisher were delighted to have nominated, double winner Jme, who were also crowned Client of the Year.
