Brief:
Screen Subtitling Systems are a leading provider of subtitling software and support. A common problem they found was that their software products were being inadvertently thrown away by engineers when packed and delivered with hardware components. Cyberpac were tasked to come up with a novel and eye catching way to ensure that these products were not missed, and which conveyed the high value nature of the software.
Solution:
Our design team developed an entirely new box concept based on two slipcases and a matching tray. The two ends slide open to reveal the contents but are prevented from coming off completely, and are secured when closed with concealed magnets. Constructed from paper over board with printed and laminated covering paper, and accented with a spot UV finish to pick out the key graphic elements. The foam has a flexible design with the cut-outs left in place to allow one or more items to be packed depending on requirements.
Result:
Sleek and original, these boxes engage the user and certainly won’t be missed. The whole effect comes together to present their digital content in an innovative way which matches the quality and dynamism of the brand.
