When researching for this project I came to learn about the Kuk Swamp in Papua New Guinea and about the pluralistic nature of this country. I was fascinated by its folklore and especially by the annual Sing-Sing celebrations.

I decided to weld the visuals of this day with a simplistic illustration of the behavior of sugar and then shaped them into packages that look and feel like the product has been around for a while.

What inspired me was basic products, ones that are found in every household and that their design consists of the bare minimum needed to recognize them quickly and pick them up.

What's Unique?
What is unique is the non traditional application of this colorful event on a basic low-designed product that looks like it could belong on any shelf.
