Produced at Quinta Chão de Fora, this olive oil follows a family tradition with more than two centuries of experience. The olives come from old olive trees that are mixed between orchards and vineyards, in the middle of Dão demarcated region, more than 500 meters high. Cultivation and harvest are manual, giving this oil a traditional flavour — ripe, fruity and subtly spicy — perfect for contemporary gourmet cuisine.
This premium olive oil is the first of its kind from Dão D.O.C. to be released to the market as an independent brand. For that reason, we designed a packaging witch celebrates the tradition in a contemporary context, perpetuating a family heritage.
The calligraphic approach evokes the elegance and finesse of a perfume, throughout the brand which fills the entire bottle as if it was handwritten. The bottle is 360º silkscreen printed so it can be reused with a clean and smooth appearance, keeping the bottle alive!
