In the times of The Great Depression, people couldn’t afford basic needs, cheap food became very popular and Tomato Sauce was the ideal complement. Art was shifting into simplest expressions, primary colours and basic shapes. Art movements at that time across the globe were De Stijl, Bauhaus, Dada, Futurism, Social Realism.
Despite all the craziness happening right now on the entire world, I'll carry on with the project, as it keeps my mind busy. This time is 30's decade, the Great Depression. Surreal, we can even trace some parallels today. - Natasha Alimova
