Kottavos is a neo-retro tavern and serves its well-kept interior with its beautiful loft reminiscent of a ‘50s living room, modern appetizers and seasonal dishes. I was asked to make the wine label which is Malbec a strange variety for Greek wine.

Malbec wine is a deep purple-red that is nearly opaque, similar to Syrah and Mourvedre. However, Malbec wines will often have a bright magenta rim. So I started learning what Malbec is and realized that it needs a label to stand out. Retro with modern elements to bring a special elegance.
