Chinese medicine originated over 2000 years ago. Modern techniques have slowly been integrated into the traditional practice but there is still no modern representation of Chinese medicine. Many people are reluctant to read and learn about the practice because their perception is greatly influenced by how dull and bland the content is presented.
The aim of this book is to capture the interest of those young and old to learn about Chinese medicine depicted with a more modern design, reinforcing the idea of merging the old with the new.
What's Unique?
The entire piece is meant to bring attention to the tactile element of the book and how the reader can interact with it - from the outer wood box package, to the inner white Somerset textured pages, to the beige Japanese mulberry paper - each component brought together establishes the harmony of the book just like the written content within.
