Our their organic/ biodynamic vineyards at the Amyndeo plateau in the far North-west of Greece include old to very old ungrafted Xinomavro vines.
Who is Hartman Molavi? A sparkling wine made from Romeiko and Xinomavro grapes. 50/50. Hartman Molavi brought out the best of his worlds and made these breathtaking bubbles from these 2 local varieties. This intense sparkling wine with tickling bubbles has an explosive nose of dried mangoes, citrus and a hint of minerality. On the palette, fresh, crisp acidity is complimented with a subtle creamy texture; a product of 4 years on the lees. The perfect wine to enjoy this holiday season.
The wine is made using the traditional method. The packaging focuses on the mysterious figure of Hartman Molavi, a character that shows the contrast between these two different terroirs. Different elements are illustrated and printed around the label in order to express the distinct character of the wine. Marios Karystios and artist Alexandra Manousakis have worked together on the same canvas to unveil the nature of this character. The wrap around label depicts elements that showcase the areas where its born in a variety of different hot foils and printing methods.
