Chicken Mafia is a fast food restaurant with an assortment based on chicken dishes. The brand is owned by two brothers Timur and Artem Yunusov. Timur Yunusov, better known as Timati, is a popular Russian hip-hop artist, singer, music producer, actor and entrepreneur, founder of a self-brand. It has a large following of its fans and subscribers (Over 3 million YouTube subscribers and over 16 million Instagram followers).
Idea
Chicken Mafia is a new daring fast food gang that has taken over Moscow! Tattoos are a prominent feature of gangster culture. We decided to use the personal tattoos of one of the founders of the brand as the basis for the style (tattoo on the fists of Timur Yunusov). We redrawn the tattoo and made a series of branded icons.
The uppercase chopped letters of the brand name were mixed with the icons in a checkerboard pattern. The result is a bright corporate pattern / code that reflects the character of the brand and makes it unique. Bright red in combination with black and white create a contrasting rich expressive picture.
