The Bake Bar is a bakeshop catering to those with an elegant taste in confectionaries. This business provides delightful upmarket bakes while maintaining warm hospitality. Proud of their focus on quality, they needed bright and bold designs to make their mark in the market. Based in the colorful state of Gujarat, India, the new branding also needed to embody the zest for life and passion of their home audience, and increase their appeal to the sophisticated and lavish mass audience.

Clever integration of the widely used tool in a bakery, a rolling pin, and the brand's initials, the logo is meant to convey the simplicity and authenticity of the brand. The icon of a rolling pin safely tucks itself between the mirrored 'B's, striking a perfect visual balance. The serif font is custom-made, matching the delectable and sophisticated nature of their products. The royal blue color adds to the sophisticated personality of the brand and stands out in the crowds of pinks and reds of the bakery branding. We don't go too far from the pinks and reds, using them on the packaging patterns instead. The entire logo appears symmetric and holistic, meant to appeal to the senses, as the brand's products appeal to the taste buds.

The client was specific about one requirement, they wanted something fresh and unique, and a design that would 100% stand out amongst their competition, and I had no idea I'd come up with something so beautiful, which would be an immediate "Yes!". Having spent the best part of my days drawing up a mood board for the client, this eccentric pattern was an instant success. Love at first sight! Amongst the generic patterns and doodles of bakery products on the packaging, I included this colorful and bold option. I took the tropical, summer pattern approach, considering the warmth that their baked products instantly conveyed when they described them to me, and boy! was I drooling. The design went to the market instantly and was adopted for all of their packaging and brand collaterals. The brand was an immediate hit for the audience and the packaging was audibly appreciated by the crowd.
