A challenge that involved Industrial Design students in a competition for the best paper packaging idea.

Our team, composed by Giulia Franceschini, Valeria Michetti and me, won the first prize with the strip for frying pans and pots by Tvs (spa). The objective was the realization of a paper-industry packaging, made entirely of cardboard, that can be used again.

The mat and laminated finishing of the band provides protection to the pan and stability to the napkins.

To build it one needs to separate all the parts tearing them along the dotted lines. Then it will suffice to join the two outlines inserting the flaps into the designed splits. The flaps will then have to be folded outwards to get a better result. The packaging reuse is almost complete, only three small cardboard pieces will be discarded.

What's Unique?
The project represents an exploration of the concept of reuse.

An innovative design and a graphic form of great formal simplicity shows its double use.

The assembly is simple and immediate. The environment is always the kitchen, and the project carries out its practical function in a new way; The shape is pleasant and easy to use. By swinging it satisfies the gesture to which it is dedicated.
