Chajá is a traditional Uruguayan product. The dessert was created on April 27, 1927 by Orlando Castellano, owner of "Confitería Las Familias", in the city of Paysandú, Uruguay. Its name arose anecdotally related to our autochthonous bird Chajá, of abundant plumage and light body, of similar appearances to the dessert.

This project was ment to re-design the logo and image regarding the packaging of the products, taking into account the characteristics of their original appearance to mantain, as the intensity of the red color, and adding traditional elements of the Uruguayan culture.

What's Unique?
What makes the project unique? The radical change in comparison to the actual design. The idea was to make it more elegant and fancy as to create a product that can work as a souvenir for tourists.
