Set by Brandon. consultants. In a nutshell, we want you to create a fresh new Rum brand. Why? Rum is on track to be the new gin! There has been a significant amount of new brands launching into this category in the last couple of years as well as innovation from established brands like Captain Morgan and Bacardi. This is becoming a crowded market so how can you stand out? Be distinctive in your look and your attitude. Think what territories you could play in. Local and small batch? Purity? Science even?

Wabi-Sabi has existed in all walks of life in japan for hundreds of years. Our spirit helps customers relax from the hectic pace of life, unwind take a step back, reflect upon themselves. This spirit helps you explore your soul while the kintsugi helps repairs it. Wabi Sabi has taken the kintsugi element and taken that to the brand, to show that the imperfect can be beautifully put back together.

Inspired by Scottish whiskey, Wabi Sabi envisioned a Japanese approach by choosing a terrain and climate total opposite to that of Scotland. The Kintsugi Distillery is nestled proudly on the periphery of Osaka’. Kintsugi distillery is where the Katsura, Uji and Kizu rivers converge, providing a unique climate in one of japans softest waters. The diversity of the area’s temperature and humidity creates perfect conditions for our unique cask aging which gives each bottle its own unique taste.
