Since 1985, the Pizzolato family has been choosing to live in harmony with the environment, producing only organic wines. The organic choice is a way of life, a responsibility which inspires and drives every aspect of the Pizzolato production chain: from the vineyard to the winery, from the choices in the bottling process to the distribution, up to the use of the materials that cover the bottles. “Organic farming means to believe that we are part of a bigger equilibrium, it means to renew every single day our commitment in order to be part of the active change we desire for the entire world”.

For all these reasons, the new Pizzolato’s BACK TO BASIC line launches a gamble: to reduce to the minimum the impact of the wine packaging on the environment. A line whose strength is the simplicity, which takes everything off and presents itself with its pure essence in a simple message of sustainability and environment. The Wild glass, composed of 94% recycled glass, is 100% PCR (post-consumer recycled) certified, worked with a custom-made craft texture, highlighting the “unique imperfection” of the recycling aspect. The choice of the cork, eco-friendly and 100% sustainable material, natural, renewable, recyclable and reusable, allows to compensate for a level of CO2 of 392 grams.

The paper is FSC® certified and 100% recycled, made up of paper coming from the production scraps of the cotton industry. It does not contain plastics or other materials not naturally derived. The label occupies as little space as possible, favouring the debossing in order to reduce as much as possible the use of inks. It consists of a single snug piece, reducing the use of glue and the bottling processes. In order to honor the intrinsic values of this project, even before the wine itself, the label focuses its attention on Pizzolato and on the message of sustainability and environment: the typology of the wine is reported only on the back side of the bottle and on the band of the cork. The box of the Line is realized with 79% of recycled paper and is “Circular By Nature” certified, being 100% recyclable.

What's Unique?
A project intentionally born in occasion of the 40th anniversary of the farm’s activity which celebrates treating itself with essential nature and simplicity, gathering all the values of its philosophy in a single representative line, herald of a return to the origins, in a process of creation and recycle whose protagonists are also the materials and the printing techniques involved.
