On the eastern slope of the Massís de l’Albera (Alt Empordà) and protected by the Canigó and the Bay of Roses, we find the vineyards where these red Grenache and red Cariñenas are born on slate soil. The last populations of the protected species of mediterranean tortoise coexist in this mediterranean environment with cork tree vegetation and weeds. Some very special wines that tell us about the territory.
