Indian cuisine is all about the perfect amalgamation of spices and flavours. Kamya Foods a leading store in Odisha approached us to design the packaging of their range of spices that are an important part of every Indian household. The brief was clear, they wanted to keep an emotional yet informative connect with their customers so when they next indulge in buying their products they feel the same.

Keeping these pointers in mind we created a rustic yet quintessential kitchenette set-up with a character illustration that brought in the feel of each state which produced that particular spice in abundance. Small elements like the turban, the nose ring or even the way the saree is draped resonated with each state that brought its own uniqueness. The choice of keeping a kitchen pantry as the background was to create a connect on how we always keep these precious yet powerful spices close to our heart and reach.

What's Unique?
We believe our uniqueness with this particular design is the choice of the illustrated characters for each resonating with different states. The joy of delivering food from the local farmers from different regions who have hand-picked each spice and kept it to perfection till it reaches our pantry. Our characters are expressive yet neat, we think if a product design can deliver a message without saying much it automatically becomes a unique design.
