Originally from the Marina Alta region and produced in an artisanal way by Carns i Embotits Domingo. A company of meats and sausages from Benissa produced with original recipe of family tradition.
The design had to transmit the premium quality of the product and position it in the gourmet category, as well as evoke the artisan and Mediterranean character of its region of origin and its unique attributes such as, for example, its elaboration with mistela from the Marina Alta.
The packaging consists of a wrapper for a whole piece with high quality paper and a very special fabric texture that evokes the cloth in which the sobrasada was wrapped in the past for its preservation (Poliwrap Neve Carpet by Fedrigoni). Its pattern with line motifs synthesizes the sea, the sun and the nature of the surrounding natural environment. The rhomboid label in the shape of a sash embraces the package and closes it with a rope loop (Arena Ivory Rough by Fedrigoni). A box has also been designed for a 250-gram portion with a die-cut window.
The textures and finishes, such as the orange stamping that evokes the color of the product, add quality to one of the emblematic products of the family's legacy cured meats.
What's Unique?
Given the fact that this product is hand made, we proposed an artisanal packaging the reminds the old butcheries, but this time with premium Fedrigoni papers.
