Created by oenologist Stoicho Stoev Incanto is one of the elite wines of Bulgaria. The range consists of 4 wines and the top one is called simply ‘Black’.

I know these wines for many, many years and I keep a special attitude to them that I somehow wanted to express on the label. The word ‘incanto’ is about something abstract from our life but I wanted to associate it with real objects in my wine label design. It took me a lot of time to understand that in fact, Incanto is all a story of wine and magic – the enchanting power of wine. This is how the magic wand appeared in my work. You will also see a rough brush stroke on the background – I used it to express the movement of the wand. The act when the wizard points out with the wand and the magic happens.

I used some special print effects like silk foil and debossing to make the Incanto story even more beautiful, attractive and convincing on the label. Three of the wines use Jade Raster paper for its incredible shining surface while the Black by Incanto is printed on Ispira Nero paper to enhance the feeling of applying black label on black glass.

Incanto wines along with all other made in Medi Valley are one of my favorites. I tried to give more of me in this wine label design so that more people could sense the story of wine and magic behind these incredible wines.
